    Make Unity more usable, configurable

I was asking myself if anyone knows tricks and configs that you can do on Unity.

For example: making (delaying) the global menu autohide only after 10 seconds, that's a config done with gconf/dcong (I don't remember wich one)

Do any of you know useful tricks and configs for the Unity Shell?

If you are using 12.04 then you should use dconf Editor as gconf is no longer used. You can also install CompizConfiguration Settings Manager (CCSM) from the software Centre and use its Ubuntu Unity Plugin.
