Dear People,

First of all, I have to say that I'm absolutely new to Linux and I never worked with computer programmes, except as a passive user.
I have HP G62 and after installing Ubuntu 12.04 I can't get my internal mic to work (I can't record any sound, or, to be precise, it seems like just some light noise is recorded instead of my voice). I installed Pavucontrol and tried to change configurations, but got confused because there are two devices recognized: RS880 HDMI Audio and Built-in Audio.
I saw that for other questions you ask to run a command wget -O alsa-info.sh http://www.alsa-project.org/alsa-info.sh && chmod +x ./alsa-info.sh && ./alsa-info.sh, so here's the link I get: http://www.alsa-project.org/db/?f=ff...78686a383b5338

In addition to this, all the videos that I try to watch online seem to be playing much faster and without any sound. I have a Shockwave Flash 12.2 r.202. I'm not sure if this has anything to do with the above problem, but I thought it still might be relevant.

I would very much appreciate your help!
Thanks,
G.
