I just did a fresh install of 12.04 64bit checking both boxes, updates and 3rd party drivers, during the process. I get the customary mouse freezes on initial boot up and some error having to do with . In my research this morning they seem to be related to my nvidia graphics card
Code:
VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation GT218 [GeForce 210] (rev a2)
. I have read previously that there is an ongoing problem with nvidia. Some have gone so far as to recommend going with another card. Another thing, Displays under System Settings has my display as Goldstar 22" which it is not. However the resolution is correct.
Just wanted to see what the brain trust here recommends before I proceed.
