I have that printer which happens to be a laser color network printer. It mostly works, but there are a few issues. I tried to see if there were solutions on the ricoh website, but no such luck.

I installed it through the usual ubuntu cups gui app, using the ppd file that came on the printer's cd.

The issues are :
- With some files (usually containing vector graphics), the printer hangs forever without printing anything.
- I use the Linux Libertine G set of fonts with libreoffice; there are some printing artefacts that appear (such as dots coming out of nowhere on the page, but always with same character). For some reason the printer doesn't properly render these.
- When I print several copies of the same file, it makes the printing calculations for each copy, instead of doing it once and then reusing it for each of the copies.

What to do?..
