Artifacts in Ubuntu Shopping Centre

Is anyone else affected by this?

The Ubuntu Software Centre comes up with random artifacts over it. It is there all the time, and will appear and disappear at will. It tends to carry on over to other programmes if they are open at the same time. Otherwise, this does not happen outside of USC.

I have an Asus G74SX with a Nvidia GeForce GTX 560M. Intel® Core™ i7-2670QM CPU @ 2.20GHz × 8
Ubuntu 12.10.

I tried to file a bug report but I was just sent to a wiki.

I'm using X.Org X server (open source) and that is the only one that works of the 4 alernatives listed. The NVIDIA binary Xorg driver (tested) must have been tested by monkeys, giving me a sweet 800 x 600 display with nothing else working.

I have the same problem.

Happens on a fresh live install run as well. Same system. No drivers enabled by me, just everything run by default. Only happens in Software Centre.
