Open Folder in new tab option dissapeard?

    Hello,

I just had a really smooth upgrade to 12.04 and was happy to see the option of opening a new folder in a tab. This morning I booted up and the option is no longer there?

    Thanks for any help.

If you are talking about Xubuntu (Xfce DE) with the default file manager (Thunar), it has never had that option. The functionality is just now being added and is not yet widely available.

Is it possible that you were using another file manager other than Thunar (pcmanfm, nautilus)?

Can't you just open a new tab and open the folder there?

Spot on, I must have been using Nautilus. I look forward to the release as I think it makes working with folders great. I am really liking Xubuntu 12.04

Edit: How to mark as solved?

Towards the top of this window will be a "Thread Tools" dropdown link. Click on it and select the "Mark this thread as solved" option.
