Can I install Skype to Lubuntu 12.10

I am pleased to report that I have now successfully downloaded Skype and it's just fine.
So thanks again everyone for your input to this thread, and particular thanks to Amjjawad for all the time and effort that you've put into making my initiation into Lubuntu such a pleasant one.
