    Displaying disk labels in Munin

By default, when monitoring HDD temperatures using Munin, Munin displays the temperatures by the /dev labels (/dev/sda, etc.) The problem is that anytime a drive is added, removed, changed, or sometimes just on system restart, those labels represent different physical drives. What I would like to see is Munin display some kind of unique identifier. I know that UUID and Labels are attached to partitions, not drives, but there must be some way to identify the actual drive. Any ideas would be appreciated.
