Just what I was always looking for. All the best artistic apps in one place running on the rock solid, fast, simple, beautiful XFCE desktop environment that works exactly as one would like it to with just a few clicks.
In my opinion XFCE was the best pick as DE for Ubuntu Studio, since it's super light and blazing fast, compact and convenient to adjust to one's needs, especially those of an artist.
An extremely well done job on Ubuntu Studio 12.10 Quantal Quetzal.
