Thread: Weird hdd sound.

    Unhappy Weird hdd sound.

    Every time i go to ubuntu i get weird high pitch sound from my hdd.
    If i boot to Windows i dont get that sound.

    How i can fix it? its weird....

    first thing your going to want to do is check if your hard drive is failing with ubuntu's built in Disk Utility. Just open unity and type disk until the application pops up.
