    Ubuntu image for Exynos SoC

Linux works with Samsung's Exynos chipsets since the version 3.2 of the kernel.

I see the "ubuntu-12.10-desktop-armhf+omap4.img" and "ubuntu-12.10-server-armhf+omap4.img" images downloadable, but I suppose those are only for Texas Instruments SoC (OMAP4).

Do de OMAP images run on a smartphone with Exynos SoC because of kernel includes it, or it needs another kind of prebuilt image?

Those are fairly different SOCs (although they both have Cortex-A9 cores).

I don't think that the OMAP4 images can run on Exynos at all.
