Ubuntu 12.04 /i386 32b
Synaptic is listing 1 broken package. When I [Fix Broken] I get the below error message:

E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.
E: Error, pkgProblemResolver::Resolve generated breaks, this may be caused by held packages.
E: Unable to correct dependencies

Suggestions ? Fixes ? Clues ? Hints ?

In synaptic > Status, click on 'Broken Packages', see what it is.
You could mark it for removal & see if synaptic wants to remove anything else & if so if can you deal with it then do so.
