HP Deskjet 3650 (3600) duplex not supported
Hello everyone,
Just was using my HP printer and realised that the double side printing is not supported in Ubuntu 12.10 with the built in driver.
Earlier using PC and HP tools manual duplex was working fine.
Have anyone done anything about that and how you solved an issue?

Are you using the latest hplip? because I don't think even Ubuntu 12.10 ships with the latest.

Hi,
i don't know if you already looked into that option to first enable duplexer. you can do that in the printer option under /usr/share/applications there are two printer options, at least for me, in one of them you have a list of printers and it says ~localhost. choose your printer and double click on it. here you can tick duplexer installed.

I haven't had the printer for a long time but until now everything went without problems. The setup is easy and I was very surprised by their support for ubuntu drivers. The wireless option worked right away. Everything that I need works perfectly fine so all in all I am very satisfied and can clearly recommend a hp printer.
