pci wireless card works with 12.04 but not with12.10

I have tp-link TL-WN751 wireless pci wireless adaptor on my computer. I am running 12.04 on my primary partition and 12.10 on secondary partition.

I get a faultless wireless connection on 12.04 but I can't get a working wireless connection on 12.10. I can however use ethernet connection.

I know others have had something like this affect them however no one seems to have any idea what the problem can be.
Can anyone point me in the direction of a solution.

My 12.10 is not an upgrade, it's a download, direct from the Ubuntu website, luckily I chose not to upgrade through update manager or I would be even more perplexed, at least I know the wireless card does work, It's got to be an issue with Quantal surely?
