how to find a window and switch it to foreground?

    hello!

I have opened apps like LibreOffice and others, and clicking ALT-TAB or the appropriate button at quicklaunch bar, I cant bring the LibreOffice window at foreground (same can happen with other apps/windows as well)

    any idea?

    thanks!

Which build are you using??? Ubuntu 12+ I had problems doing this..
I know that if you hold ALT, then press TAB you can switch between active windows. This works for my personal favorite build. (Ubuntu 10.04)
