Strange toast notification behavior

Hey,

I wanted to try Lubuntu desktop so I used the command

sudo apt-get install lubuntu-desktop

After, I realised I really do prefer Unity now I'm used to it and wanted to remove it, so I used this page: http://www.psychocats.net/ubuntu/pureubuntu

That worked, however, I seem to be getting the Lubuntu notifications sent, rather than the black ones unity was using before. Any idea how to fix this?

Did you execute the complete (long) line of commands? Because towards the end it re-installs ubuntu-desktop, which should bring back everything that is still missing. Am I right in assuming that you rebooted after doing the whole thing?

I restarted again, just in case and I'm getting the same thing. I ran the whole set of commands again and I get the message:

0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 5 not upgraded.

Could this be a problem?

What are the 5 packages that haven't been upgraded?

I used dist-upgrade to install them (a few python packages and other applications), then using Synaptic, I search for 'Lubuntu' and marked everything that included it for complete removal.

Nothing changed so far but I'll try to reboot, just can't reboot at the moment so I'll have to wait to see if it worked.

Still nothing, removed everything and still I'm getting this error message.

I didn't realise it was this much trouble using a new desktop =='
