12.04 with nsf synology nas fstab entry

    Hi,

I have a synology nas (ds211j) that used to run dsm v3, but it is now updated to dsm v4. Also I used to have 10.04 machines but now they are also updated to 11.10 and 12.04. With 10.04 and dsm v3 everything worked fine with the following line on my fstab

    Code:
    192.168.0.x:/volume1/TheFolderYouWantToShare /media/mynas nfs nouser,rsize=8192,wsize=8192,atime,auto,rw,dev,exec,suid 0 0
Now I'm getting server denied access to the folder.

I have setup the nsf folder access permissions for all machines in the lan. I've pretty much googled whatever I could find and tried it without any success.

    Any help please?

Hello Gatemaze, did you managed to fix the permission problem.

I wanted to ask you the following questions:
Why do you specify the rsize and wsize?
Can you tell more about performance? Any idea of transfer speed?
