    Virtualbox & Lightscribe

Does anyone know if the Passthrough option in Virtualbox will allow Lightscribe to work on a burner in a virtual OS?

I have never been able to burn anything from a guest OS in Virtualbox to the burner on the host, I could be wrong (or dated or both) since it has been awhile since I have tried anything like that again.
Windows assumes the user is an idiot.
    Linux demands proof.

My experience is similar but the passthrough option in Virtualbox is something new. I would switch from KVM if it really made a difference.

It has had passthrough for a while. I rarely use it but sometimes it is needed if I am running an older game with a disc check.
