Boot Windows 7 VHD from grub

I am planning on wiping my drive tomorrow to get rid of my traditional dual boot in favor of one that has one physical Partition. I was planning on using the Windows 7 (and Windows 8 ) feature to boot that OS from a VHD thus allowing me to use a dynamic drive for Windows while keeping as much space for my Linux install as possible. I was hoping someone could give me a little instruction on how to add a VHD to my GRUB or any other boot loader if necessary. The linux install will be Linux Mint 13 64-bit Cinnamon.

I think I am going to try using my windows disk to write the windows boot loader to the MBR then set up grub to chain load as usual. It works in theory, but ill see if it truly works tomorrow.
