    Batch Rendering with Blender

I'm trying to render multiple files in Blender and I don't want to have to individually open each file and begin a render. I want to just list out all the files and begin the rendering process all at once so that I can go and do other things. After doing a bit of research, I found batch rendering where, in Windows, you can plug in the commands to render the file, then run a .bat file in command prompt. I'm assuming that you could do a similar thing with shell script in terminal, but I've only found tutorials for Windows and OSX. Are there commands to render via terminal in Ubuntu?

I'm sure that BASH scripts work well with Blender. See also: Blender.org :: View topic - Render via Bash
