    Sudo Password

I recently downloaded Ubuntu 12.04 lts on my laptop for a project. I attempted to download adobe using terminal but it asked for my sudo password. I tried my regular password to sign in and it wouldn't work. I don't know what the password would be or how to reset it. Please help.

Your Sudo password should be the same as your user password, are you sure you didn't just type it in wrong?

    Re: Sudo Password

sudo stands for Super User DO. It requires the administrator password.
So it might be the case that there are more than 1 users on your system and so in that case your password may not work. Try entering the administrator password
