12.04 64-bit and Intel HD4000

Is there another way to improve the perfomance of the HD4000 driver in Ubuntu 12.10, like installing new intel drivers or making a kernel update?

I ended up using this url:

It has two options, I selected the 2nd one, the ppa route. I use Mythtv and it hasn't had any issues with sna for a 2nd and 3rd generation cpus.
