Can't connect to wireless on Lenovo laptop

My lenovo laptop running lubuntu can't connect to wireless. It just spins the little wireless spinner and then says "wireless disconnected" with no other error (though it does put a message in dmesg that says wlan0: no IPv6 routers present).

I have a "AR9285 wireless network adapter" and I'm currently using the ath9k driver.

I was running arch briefly and wireless worked, but I replaced it with lubuntu and haven't had wireless access since then.

Is there something special I should be doing to get wireless? Or at least some way of finding out why my computer is failing to connect?

    Thanks!

Hmm, seems to have magically fixed itself after what felt like a bajillion attempts.
