Software to get rid of stupid car stereo filesystem limits?
I have a Kenwood KDC-BT952HD. It's a relatively recent car stereo with a USB port.
So I put my music onto a USB stick. Some of the files play, but most don't.
I found a page documenting extra requirements, and everything seemed fine.
Then I found it: Maximum of 256 folders on the system (including the root folder) and maximum 256 files on each folder. And a maximum of 60 characters per filename.
How can you organize your music that way?
So the real question here, is does anyone know a way around this? I need something reasonable, like a folder per album or something like that.
I think I'm safe in assuming I can't install Linux on this thing.
