    DSL recovery drive

I'm making a file recovery/ password recovery drive using DamnSmall, how do I make it automatically boot into command line? (preferably without uninstalling the GUI).

DSL hasn't put out a stable release since 2008
The only thing I know for certain is that I know nothing at all, for certain.

^--- True and more to the point, I don' think DSL supports ext4 filesystem (since DSL uses 2.4 kernel) meaning it will be of limited use as a file recovery tool.

A better option might be SliTaz, which has a command-line only version and easy remaster tools (tazlito/tazusb).
