    Hi CharlesA. I also think that it is better to use the regular repos instead of untrusted. I think the update to version 16.0.1 will be available in the next few hours. On the Mozilla website there is already available a new version (https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all.html). So, we must wait a while.

    That bit is moot now as 16.0.1 is now in the Ubuntu repos.

    Yes, everything is okay now. Firefox is in repos. Also here confirmed. As always, updates published very quickly! Best thing: We do not have to use untrusted repositories! Many Thanks!

    Code:
    $ firefox --version
    Mozilla Firefox 16.0.1

    If you're worried about security try the Firefox apparmor profile.

    I only want to congratulate mozilla ubuntu team or whoever being responsible for security updates for its quick response and solution of security problems.

    Yesterday I was offered by security updates firefox 16.0, today (less than 24 hours later) firefox 16.01 was installed from security updates.

    This is good work.

    Same here, good to see Open Source working so quickly.

    Hi Hungry Man! Thanks for Your suggestion, but... I already use AppArmor profile for Firefox (already for a long time).
