    nm-applet missing

Running Xubuntu 12.10. How do I get network notification/selection in my notification applet? I tried installing nm-applet, but it's not in the repos.
    Thanks

network is part of the indicator applet
notification area is for alerts (file-roller crashed, updates available)
these are present on a clean install

I reinstalled indicator-applet, went to session/startup, enabled network, and now all is right in the world.

    Thanks so much, pqwoerituytrueiwoq!
