    Question Customizing GNOME panel

I've been using Gnome Classic, but I'd like to try out Gnome3. The only problem is I can't seem to find a way to customize the top panel or add other panels like I can in Classic. Is there a way to do this?

Those instructions are for Classic. I'm looking for how to customize GNOME 3. I've tried the Alt-Super-Click method, like in Classic, but it doesn't work.

install gnome tweak tool from ubuntu software centre. you can also customize the gnome shell by adding extensions to it by visiting https://extensions.gnome.org/. you an slide the option like on or off for installing the extensions.

you can see the extensions as well as additional panel in the image of my desktop
