    pangolin, rhythmbox and playlists question

    Hi.
If (when) I upgrade to Pangolin, will I lose my rhythmbox play lists and play counts again? Is there a way to save them before upgrading?
    Cheers.

I also had the same problem with RthymBox.I'll suggest you an alternative for it as Clemtine,it is a nice player with fade effects and many other functionalities that are not in the RhythmBox.

Thanks, but I'm very happy with the functionality of Rhythmbox. Moving to another media player won't solve my problem of resetting play counts and losing play lists, which is what happened last time I upgraded.

Maybe it's been addressed and it wouldn't happen this time. Can anyone tell me?

upgrade from what version? if you are moving from oneiric to precise, then it should not affect you.

However, moving from 10.04 to 12.04 will because rhythmbox completely changed - from series 0.x to series v2.9x.
