    Ubuntu STILL won't recognize wireless

    Ubuntu 11.04

    Card Type: AirPort Extreme (0x168C, 0x87)
    Firmware Version: Atheros 5416: 2.1.14.9

    Macbook Pro 3,1

    I just installed Ath9k

    Network wil only connect through "Auto-ethernet"

    I uninstalled Network Manager and tried to see if wicd would help. It did not.

    Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!
