Hello all,

Has anyone figured out a way (if even running a command in terminal) to see what the current state of a hardware RAID is from within Ubuntu? I checked with the specific RAID controller manufacturer (LSI) and they do not have software that will run in 64-bit Ubuntu.

The only way I can see the status now is at boot-up and only for a few seconds.

System:

OS: Ubuntu 12.04 LTS 64-bit

Hardware involved - Custom build:
Asus P7P55D-E motherboard
Intel (hyperthreaded) Core 2 Duo 3.2GHz processor
8G DDR3 RAM
1 64GB solid state drive
4 1.5TB SATA drives supported by LSI 3ware 9650SE-4LPML RAID controller
