    bristol and midi

    Hello, All--

Has anybody been able to use control change signals with bristol? i would love to be able to use the faders on my midi controller to adjust the drawbars on the b3 gui.

i've tried a number of different control change messages, but to no avail. Could someone please point me to the necessary reading to solve this problem?

    Thank you, much!

Hi, you can join this mail-list, and ask the author,
Nik Copeland, who posts there, and the rest of the
    audio brain-trust.
    Cheers

    Hello, again, sgx--

The problem has been solved. One needs only to middle click on the gui's knob or drawbar in question and then move the knob, fader, or whatever on your controller that you wish to use. The connection is then set.

Thank you, again, sgx, for pointing me in the right direction.

Hopefully more people will use Bristol, the sound engine
may be similar beneath the various gui, but the sound can
be greatly effected using rakarrack and many other effects,
and it's nice to have vintage synth eyecandy to be controlled.
    Thanks for sharing the solution.
