    HDMI v DVI for monitor

    is there any reason I would use an HDMI connection to my monitor rather than a DVI + 3.5mm audio cable ?

    to reduce cable clutter maybe?

    HDMI and DVI can support 1920×1200 HD video but HDMI has also 8 digital audio channels.
