Should we report threads that appear Solved but aren't marked as such?

OP is still active in the forums but, possibly because of oversight or some other reason, hasn't marked the thread Solved or responded in any manner.

I'm sure there are other instances. My question is whether mods should be informed of such threads so that they could notify the OP to do the needful, whatever that may be.

As things stand, the Report button doesn't cover such a situation.

There are almost 2million threads - and we've not always had a plugin to mark threads solved ...
