Dell 810 all in one driver

    Hi,
I have just tried to install a Dell 810 all in one printer/scanner under 12.04 (precise) on the USB but there seems to be no suitable driver listed under Dell.

The machine seems to send the test page but there is no response from the printer. Any suggestions as to what I should do to get this working (if it is possible to do so) Any help with the scanner portion if this is not in the printer section.

    Thanks,

    Martin

Have you ever considered checking into Vuescan by Hamrick? I used the free copy for some time and ended up just buying it. I use it on Win7 and Linux for my Konica scanner and it ALWAYS works, unlike the drivers and app provided by the company, which was real junk. Try this, not sure what the licensing is now but once you buy it, its good for life.
