I recently updated the graphics drivers for my Intel integrated card. Now my mouse flickers when I move it around and disappears completely when idle.

I uninstalled Unclutter and that didn't do anything.

It's really annoying and I've spent hours trying to figure this out but to no avail.

I am running Lubuntu 12.04.
