Hello! I'm having an issue with the 64-bit 12.04.1 DVD, any of the options other than memtest (try, install, check disk integrity) get stuck on the swirling Ubuntu Studio logo forever. Hitting escape shows:
(although the bracketed numbers and/or the hard drive name varied with each boot attempt) repeating over and over and over.Code:udevd[105]: timeout: killing '/sbin/blkid -o udev -p /dev/sdb1' [468]
Hitting Ctrl+C (I think that's what I did) resulted in:
with no further activity or prompt for input.Code:udevd[105]: '/sbin/blkid -o udev -p /dev/sdb1' [468] terminated by signal 9 (Killed) stdin: I/O error stdin: I/O error stdin: error 0
I first tried it on a liveUSB, then a burned disk. The md5 of both the downloaded image and the burned disk were correct, and I have no problem booting a liveUSB of vanilla Ubuntu 12.04.01 64-bit
