Disk check every time I boot

I'm running Ubuntu 12.04 with Gnome 3 and every time I power on my system, there is always a disk check which is getting kind of annoying. I am dual booting with Windows 7 and also have a second hard drive in my laptop that is replacing the CD drive. The only thing I've found was this post, which hasn't worked.

Any thoughts?

I'm aware the instructions were on tune2fs, but have you tried

sudo tune2fs -c 0 /dev/sdXY

This is the error message I get

tune2fs 1.42 (29-Nov-2011)
tune2fs: No such file or directory while trying to open /dev/skXY
Couldn't find valid filesystem superblock.

I don't know what this tune2fs command is, but it apparently isn't working

There must be a space between tune2fs and -c. It should be:
sudo tune2fs -c # # # / dev / ***

Where:
### is the interval of checking
*** is the partition which has to be checked/changed

I cut & pasted the command you posted and it worked. This is the output:
