    Help can't connect wireless

    Hi,

I'm having a problem with my wireless connection. Sorry I'm new to Ubuntu so hang with me. I have a hp pavilion dv1000, which has a wireless button on the keyboard. In my drivers settings it shows that my wireless driver is activated and in use, but the wireless button isn't lit up and won't turn on.

    The line:
02:00.0 Network controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM4311 802.11b/g WLAN (rev 01)
    is a good start.
    Try this page https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Wireless_Setup
to see if the card is supported and for specific broadcom instr.
