    Mouse not working on startup

    Hey All

    I have a funny issue....

When my Ubuntu 12.04 starts up the mouse if frozen on the screen. I have to un plug and plug back in to get it working??

I have tried different ports and different mice and the same thing happens.

Also this PC is dual booted and it works fine on Win7.

Can anyone tell me why, or give me a terminal way of resetting the mouse, as it is a mess on unplugging it all of the time?

    Cheers

    Graham

Seems I was lying, it also doesn't work on Win7 one the same machine.

So if it is the port and it is ok after I have unplugged and plugged back in, is there a way to reset the port fromt he command line?
