Ubuntu 12.04 - The icon is there in the launcher all right bit where is the application?
I have tried gknu nautilus > file systems > usr > share > applications but it isn't there.

The workspace switcher should not be a standalone application, thus, you should not be able to find an application launcher for it.

Found by using locate in the terminal.
