    ipod alternative (cowon)??

    A friend is asking my advice. Does the iaudio 9 sync with Ubuntu? Any feedback greatly appreciated. If someone knows of a Cowon that definitely syncs with Ubuntu 12 please let me know. The person is a newbie so it needs to be pretty easy. (I need to help/direct her from UK to Australia)

    I have an older Cowan, just brilliant, the iaudio 9 on Amazon mentions Linux under "Operating Systems" and one of the reviews says -
    Bought this thing for the Linux-Friendliness and that part is seamless.
