Uninstalling Ubuntu - cannot boot up

    Hi,

On my toshiba netbook I was running windows and ubuntu dually via Grub. I was trying to uninstall ubuntu and what I think happened was I deleted the wrong partition and I received an error on bootup 0xc00000e. I booted into gparted and selected my windows drive as the boot drive, and now I don't have that error but instead it keeps attempting to boot into windows but never does, just stays at the booting into windows page.

I was hoping someone here could offer some guidance on where I can go from here so that I can at least boot up into windows somehow and fix my boot problem. I have attempted recovery options that allegedly exist on my computer, but no luck.

    Thanks

If you want to completely remove Ubuntu from a dual boot config. You can follow this guide.

Now i dont know what happened when you deleted the partion. But this might help you boot back to windows...if that partion is ok...

As usual the warning: Use at your own risk
Always make sure you have a backup of your data.

A complement to my last reply...

I think you have to move on to the section called Restore MBR in the guide.
