i have just had to reinstall 12.04 all updates in place
i am having trouble with winff it converts the files to avi has not warnings that there is no problems and that there is no software to be loaded to make it work
when i try to play the converted avi file stops part way through and starts at beginning again
if i use an other setting it does not play.
i have loaded ubuntu restricted extras
is there any other files i need
same presets on windows is working fine
any help will be great
don't really want to go back to WIN
