    Netgear WG311v3 not connecting

    Hi everyone,

I'm having trouble with my Netgear WG311v3. I've been using this wlan adapter since 2009 when I began using Ubuntu . In this past, this guide has worked in setting up the adapter via ndiswrapper and the Windows 2000 .inf file. I have just done a full upgrade of my system, which included upgrading from 10.04 to 12.04.

Now, using ndisgtk or command line, I cannot get the wlan card to connect to my network. It discovers the network, however when I click connect, it keeps trying but never actually connects.

I have tried to use the Windows XP and Windows 2000 drivers (which used to work) via ndiswrapper, but it will still not connect. The only thing I can think of is that it could be a security issue.

Has anyone had similar problems? Any help would be appreciated.

    Cheers.

Never mind, finally got it working using the drivers supplied on this German website.
