Error while running Battlefield 1942 in Wine
I installed Battlefield 1942 through Wine, but when I run it, I get the following error.
What's going wrong and how can I fix it? Can someone please explain that to me?Code:fixme:service:scmdatabase_autostart_services Auto-start service L"SecDrv" failed to start: 2
I'm using Ubuntu 12.04 and Wine 1.5.14

I've got the same error. Wine+BF1942 was working on previous versions of kubuntu. Anyone knows the fix?

The problem had something to do with the CD-check. After installing a nocd-crack, it worked fine. Of course this is not the elegant way, but it worked.
