I just did a quick search, and this tutorial looks accurate:
I run Macpup Opera 2.0 (http://macpup.org/opera2.php) on my doorstop computer:
- Ancient e-Machine tower circa 1999
- 192MB RAM (not a typo)
- Celeron 667MHz (actually 666MHz - it's a marketing thing)
- 5GB HD
- Onboard Intel graphics, et cetera
I must have installed 20 distros on this doorstop.
Macpup Opera 2.0 was the only distro that would boot from the HDD.
Works great, and it's relatively pretty, all things considered...
