So, I've seen quite a few nice customized/modified unity setups here and I was wondering if anybody in their infinite knowledge could help me out here.

Does anybody know how to get rid of this terrible drop shadow between the launcher and panel? It's driving my OCD crazy!! I know how to remove the shadow from just the panel by erasing the gradient from the file in usr/share/unity/5 using gimp, which obviously gets rid of the panel shadow but doesn't git rid of the shadow between the panel and launcher. I have been poking around in usr/share/unity/5 and usr/share/unity/themes for almost an hour and I can't seem to locate the image that coincides with that shadow. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
