How to import graphic in Kover

I have made Jewel Box inserts with a graphic on the front with some previous edition of Ubuntu. The only program that is in the Ubuntu Software Center for the current Ubuntu is Kover. That may or may not have been what I used. However, there does not appear to be any place to import a graphic in it.
I found a page (http://www.brighthub.com/computing/l...es/27889.aspx#) that gives instructions on importing a graphic, but it references a later edition of Kover. Next, I found and downloaded a Kover-4, unzipped and tar, but was unable to compile it.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to accomplish this either with Kover or another application?

Re: How to import graphic in Kover

I located my Ubuntu 11.0 on another partition on my hard drive and it had the edition of Kover that I was looking for and it worked perfectly.

Why is it that many new edition of Ubuntu only have avaiable "dumbed down" versions of apps? ;-(
