cortman has been doing some absolutely excellent work both on the forums and with the forum wiki team - in fact at the moment he IS the forum wiki team.
An unequivocal and emphatic +1 from me.

Not sure I have enough clout to really weigh in here, but cortman gets an unequivocal +1 from me as well. Outstanding member of the forum, whose insight, help, and demeanor are fantastic.
Good luck with your application!

I {obviously} am neither staff or an official member of this auspicious group and am not sure if I should post, although I have been around for a while.
I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending cortman for full ubuntu membership. His attitude, demeanour, and willingness to assist those less knowledgeable than himself epitomizes the ubuntu philosophy as well as strengthens the entire FOSS movement as a whole. I have had the pleasure of interacting with him on many occasions and have witnessed his assisting of others many times.
